Haughton Design are excited to announce the addition of Autodesk Inventor to our range of 3D CAD packages.
Increasing requests for us to use Inventor, particularly from a range of existing clients in the Defence Sector, has meant demand for this software package could no longer be ignored.
Our Managing Director David Mils had this to say: “We have been considering Inventor for some time, our SolidWorks package has always been able to provide everything we need to design effectively. However, we have received increasing requests for us to work in our client’s native Inventor format, we want to help them so took the plunge, fortunately it’s modelling methodology is incredibly similar to SolidWorks so moving between the CAD packages is not a problem for our design team.
We use a very robust design process so the choice of CAD package is not going to be an issue to us - ultimately it is the quality of the designer and the work they produce, that our clients come to us for. Adding Inventor now makes it faster and easier for them to receive our work packages as the native design data we produce will slot seamlessly into their internal CAD systems.
Along with our existing clients, we expect interest from other companies that we have previously been unable to help. In the past we missed out on projects because we could not provide the native Inventor file formats that some customers demanded. Our new package completely removes these issues so I expect our order book to grow further as a number of new clients become aware of this new service.”
If your company uses Inventor then why not set up an exploratory meeting to see how Haughton Design can help you too?
