In today’s highly competitive market, it’s vitally important that we all keep ahead of the game. For every business this requirement has different guises. For HD this has meant, among other things, that our quality systems must be top notch, in order to provide our clients with the assurance they require. We are therefore very proud to announce that we have recently been awarded ISO 13485 accreditation!
ISO 13485 represents the requirements for a comprehensive quality management system for the design and manufacture of medical devices. We, however, believe that the benefits are far more outreaching than just medical devices – consumer, automotive and even aerospace clients will all see the benefits of this development.
Why is this? Well, the system provides a framework for assuring that customer requirements are clearly defined, risk is managed, progress is tracked and verified, and products are delivered on time. Isn’t the desire for this kind of quality universal?
Acquiring this standard, when combined with our already awarded ISO 9001 and our BS 7001 design management, makes for an extremely robust quality system.
We believe that the processes that we have in place will be a great asset to all of our clients, providing them with peace of mind, and ensuring that not only is the work completed to the highest quality possible, but that all regulatory boxes are ticked too!
This accreditation is a clear demonstration of our dedication to continual improvement, and commitment to meeting our customer’s requirements.
