George Osborne’s ‘March of the Makers’ has been hard hit with a fall in manufacturing. Haughton Design, is calling for ‘ideas from the innovators’ to create new products which will keep UK factories full.
Business confidence is at an all time low, with fears of a double dip recession. Companies are hesitant to pursue new ideas and invest in new product development. This is crippling the manufacturing sector and preventing future business growth. It is essential that companies find the confidence to invest in new ideas, create new products and grow our manufacturing sector again.
We are launching a new ‘design visualisation’ service to encourage businesses to pursue their new product development ideas. It is a low risk, cost-effective service which turns basic ideas into virtual images, animations and physical models. It allows companies to have a good understanding of their product key features and unique selling points, before investing in further product development.
Managing Director, David Mills, reveals “Companies are still coming up with ideas, but they are hesitant to develop them. Our new design visualisation service will create realistic representations of initial ideas to support future success.”
We are confident that our design visualisation service will encourage companies to see the potential in their new ideas. The service can be used to create realistic images which can be presented internally to gain in-house support. Alternatively, visualisations can be used by sales and marketing teams to judge market reaction and limit risks during new product development.
